Generic partner agreement for in-app vendor perks and QR code redemption.
Effective Date: May 14, 2026
Medloc Wallet partner perks: nurses claim vendor offers in-app and redeem them in-store using a scannable QR code.
Best practice: use a unique, single-use redemption token/QR code that does not contain private nurse info, discount logic, or anything easy to fake.
This Agreement is between Medloc and the Vendor identified above. Vendor agrees to participate in the Medloc Wallet partner perks program by making approved offers available to Medloc nurses and healthcare members.
Medloc will display Vendor's offer in-app and may describe the offer in Medloc Wallet, partner pages, and approved promotional materials.
Vendor authorizes Medloc to publish the offer described above. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the offer is available while active in the Medloc Wallet and expires according to the expiry rule stated above.
Vendor is responsible for honouring valid, unexpired, unredeemed offers presented through the Medloc Wallet QR redemption flow.
Nurses claim an offer in-app. Medloc creates a unique, single-use redemption token and QR code. The QR points to a secure redemption page such as https://medloc.ca/redeem/secure-random-token.
Store staff scan the QR code, review the verification screen, apply the approved offer, and tap Mark as Redeemed. Once redeemed, the token is locked and cannot be reused.
Vendor should provide a phone, tablet, or POS browser with camera access and internet access. Vendor will train staff to scan the QR code, verify the vendor name, offer details, member ID, and expiration date, then mark the offer redeemed after applying the discount.
Medloc may provide Vendor with reporting that includes number of offers claimed, number redeemed, redemption dates, and aggregate value. Reports should not include unnecessary private nurse information.
Any billing, reimbursement, sponsorship fee, or co-funded discount arrangement must be confirmed in writing by both parties.
QR codes must use unique, single-use tokens and must not contain private nurse information, discount logic, or values that are easy to copy or fake. Vendor agrees not to collect, copy, sell, or misuse member information viewed during redemption.
Medloc may suspend an offer if fraud, abuse, staff misuse, or repeated redemption disputes are detected.
Vendor grants Medloc permission to use Vendor's business name, offer text, logo if provided, and category listing for the purpose of promoting the offer. Either party may request changes or removal of the offer with reasonable notice.
This Agreement begins on the signature date and continues until terminated by either party with 30 days written notice, unless a shorter pilot term is agreed in writing.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of New Brunswick and the federal laws of Canada. Each party is responsible for its own taxes, staff training, operations, and legal compliance. This template should be reviewed by legal counsel before production use.
